It’s been four years since I started this site, and although I am ashamed to admit I’ve been quite absent recently, however, I have been busy.
Here are a few photos from my recent choreography for the Asteroids Dance Company, for their production Time on Saturday 22nd April 2017 in Holstebro, Denmark.
My conception of time has always been flawed. When I was younger time seemed to go so slow. I wanted to be older so that I could drive, be independent from my parents and live by my own rules. Now that I am an adult, time seems to be speeding up and I am floundering around trying to work out how I am supposed to survive, never quite catching my breath. And when I have lived my life I imagine that time will have flown and I won’t be able to believe that I have lived an entire life. The piece, in many respects, tries to replicate this sense of ongoing, the idea of hurtling through life, going faster and faster until suddenly it ends.
